Because no floor or piece of concrete is alike, neither is the finish that is applied to it. Most Interior finishes are comparable to mid-range carpet or hard wood floor. Please schedule an appointment to receive a price.

I have an old epoxy floor that is coming up, how do I fix it?

A:
In most circumstances you don't, epoxy that is coming off the floor is usually due to moisture failure or product failure. If it is due to moisture failure chemical flooring is probably not for you. If it is coming of due to Product failure the system may still need to be removed before a new coating can be applied.

What do I do with my cracks?

A:
Even though most overlays fill and cover most concrete imperfections, it is highly advised that relief-cuts are allowed to remain or be honored. Foundations by nature move. Relief-cuts expandand contract with aesthetic and structural performance when the concrete needs to crack.

Colors are specifically built to enhance architectural surroundings with endless colors and combinations.

Epoxy systems come in over 250 pre set and pre mixed colors. Custom colors are available at additional prices.

Does it smell?

A:
Yes! These fumes are a large part of project planning. Poorly ventilated spaces may require special arrangements for installation. Most Epoxies have a period of 4-6 hours of heavy solvent release, sickness and nausea may be a result of exposure. Proper ventilation should continue 12-24 hours after a coating is applied. If any mild smell remains after that time contact a representative immediately.

hat do I do about the cracks in my concrete?

A:
Cracks in concrete are there for a reason. Even if they are patched the foundation will continue to move and separate at those relief points or cracks. We typically advise against any type of crack repair due to its high installation cost and high failure rate. But pits, cracks, joints, mild elevation differences, and relief cuts, can all be brought level to create a perfectly seamless Epoxy floor.

How slippery are the Epoxy Flat Systems?

A:
Slick! Be careful and cautious when exposing epoxy flat systems standing water, fats, oils, and grease. If these are food or beverage related areas Textured or Anti-Slip Epoxy Flooring may be more suitable for your needs. Otherwise place welcome mats or area rugs in high traffic areas or where transitions from wet to dry floors are.

Does the color fade?

A:
Acid Staining actually penetrates the concrete surface but may still wear under heavy foot traffic and weather. Protective coatings penetrate and seal the surface to stop colors from fading away. Regular maintenance prolongs life and beauty.

What colors are available?

A:
Acid staining is a chemical reaction between the lime in concrete and the metallic salts in the acid. All manufactures carry between 8-10 similar colors. Because this is a chemical reaction there are many factors that may affect the final appearance making color charts very deceiving. Our solution is to install "site samples" on an inconspicuous place of the concrete surface.
